Metis is proud to announce that SNZ will become the second external sequencer operator to join the Decentralized Sequencer pool, going live on Thursday 26th of September. After successfully completing the Critical Evaluation Group (CEG) review in late June, SNZ’s onboarding will further contribute to the decentralization and security of the Metis network.
This partnership is not limited to SNZ and Metis however, Artemis, one of the leading LST platforms, has integrated with SNZ and is also committing to providing Metis tokens.
“This development is a significant step forward for Metis, advancing the vision of creating a Layer 2 solution centered on decentralization, enabling shared network ownership and revenue distribution with external sequencer node operators.” - Elena Sinelnikova, Co-Founder at Metis.
“We are glad to share that we have locked 26,369 METIS with the SNZ sequencer. artMETIS continues to mine sequencer rewards. As the largest LST platform on @MetisL2, we are contributing toward a fully decentralized Layer 2 solution. The Metis Andromeda chain is steadily becoming more decentralized, step by step!“ - Artemis
As Metis continues to expand the Decentralized Sequencer network, future partnerships will further strengthen the foundation for a more secure, transparent, and community-driven network.
